Brew Recklessly Good is more than a slogan. It is a posture.

To brew recklessly good means caring deeply about quality without chasing perfection. It’s choosing thoughtful systems and equipment that serve people well, day after day.

We believe in craftsmanship, reliability, and clarity—because when coffee systems are built and supported properly, good coffee becomes sustainable and hospitality becomes freer.

Good Coffee Equipment exists to help you move forward with confidence. Brew Recklessly Good.

Meet Lafe

Good Coffee Equipment grew out of years behind the bar, shaped by a foundation in construction and business management. Founder Lafe Isaacson developed a practical understanding of systems, operations, and long-term sustainability long before entering coffee, and that perspective continues to guide the work today.

After founding Abide Coffeehouse and learning to service his own equipment out of necessity, Lafe went on to lead cafés, turn around struggling operations, and grow a coffee service company. Good Coffee Equipment is the natural result—built on hands-on expertise, custom solutions, and the belief that coffee systems should be thoughtfully designed and supported for the long term.
